FOUNDER & WRITER

Thanks for stopping by to form part of an ambitious community of readers determined to level up our financial wellbeing.

First things first - here's a little bit about me, the purpose, and frequency of these posts.

Who am I?

I'm Sanam. Born in Tenerife, Spain, my parents immigrated from India to give my sister and I a different life.

  • I grew up loving Law and secured a First Class Honours at University in the UK.
  • I went on to intern at Microsoft, and fell in love with all things Tech.
  • For a decade, I led Banking Relationships at Goldman Sachs London and Singapore.

As you can tell, my life has always been about my career. It looks great on paper, right?

But my finances? All over the place.

Until I quit my high-flying city-loving adrenaline-pumping Banking job.

Why the financial mess?

Truthfully, I was the first person in my community to earn a corporate salary, and I couldn't find a trustworthy and affordable expert that "got me".

And so with every year that passed, I:

❌ Lacked clear financial goals.
❌ Had no robust retirement or investing plan.
❌ Had scattered and inefficient global accounts.
❌ Lost $30,000 through risky investing strategies.
❌ Paid excessive annual fund management fees of 2-3%.

🪫 Operated from scarcity due to low self-worth.

When I quit, I vowed to never feel like this again.

So I invested thousands into my financial education.

In 6 months, I:

✅ Established clear financial goals and values.
✅ Optimised my accounts and emergency fund.
✅ Slashed fund fees to under 1%, saving thousands.
✅ Developed a robust retirement and investment strategy.
✅ Designed a robust 5-figure core strategic investment portfolio.

🔋 Now live out of abundance and prioritise my wellbeing.

For the first time ever, I optimised for my life, not work.

Leading me to grow, enjoy, and sustain my wealth - and be closer to my family.
